Even though Parliament was not sitting, MPs continued to work tirelessly following the devastation of the tsunami and the volcanic eruption in January and the Covid outbreak in February.
The Standing Committee on Social Services has held meetings where Cabinet Ministers provide briefing sessions on government’s work in relation to Covid-19 and on government’s relief and rebuilding efforts in the aftermath of January 15 tsunami and volcanic eruption. The Standing Committee on Privileges has also held meeting.
