ON Monday 2 May, 2011, a team of educators from the Legislative Assembly of Tonga embarked on a parliamentary awareness initiative by visiting a number of selected secondary schools in Vava’u, Ha’apai, ‘Eua and Tongatapu. The team is led by the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Lord Tu’i'afitu and includes the Assembly’s Education Officer, Dr. Sione Vikilani and Legislative Counsel, Ms Seinimili Fonua.

Speaker of the Israel Knesset to visit Tonga on the 7 of April, 2011

THE Honorable Speaker of the Israeli Knesset, Mr. Reuven Rivlin will make his first official visit to Tonga on Thursday 7th April, 2011. This will be the first time a Speaker of the Israeli Knesset will visit Tonga.
